Over recent years, celebrities from the world of film, sport, music and beyond have come to explore our beautiful country. Many head to Mykonos – over the last few months Elon Musk, Logan Paul and Nicola Scherzinger have all been seen vacationing with their loved ones on the party island.
Paros may be lesser known internationally, but those “in the know” make a bee line for Paros when planning their holidays. After all, you can travel by boat transfer from Paros to Mykonos in only one hour!

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson
Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson are Greek citizens and own a house on Paros’ sister island of Antiparos. They holiday on the island most summers, and were most recently spotted in Greece in June 2022. They sometimes bring other famous friends along such as Matthew McConaughey and have even enjoyed a dinner with the founder of Amazon – Jeff Bezos and the Greek Prime Minister – Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Tom Hanks is one of the world’s most famous movie stars and his love for Greece has translated into his work. Tom and his wife have produced two film franchises – Mamma Mia and My Big Fat Greek Wedding – which both draw from Greek culture.
Monica Bellucci
Monica Bellucci has been a big fan of Paros for many years, and has even said publicly that she would consider buying a second home on the island. She regularly visits with her family, and was last seen in Paros in June 2022.
Bellucci is famous for many roles, including in the Matrix trilogy and even played legendary Greek opera singer Maria Calles in a monologue stage show, first aired at Athens’ Herodotus theatre.

Roger Federer is one of the world’s most iconic tennis players – but even a man of his renown work ethic and dedication has to take a vacation sometimes!
Holiday makers spotted Federer and his family in Paros during the summer of 2022. He enjoyed a meal in the beautiful harbor village of Naoussa. Unfortunately, Federer wasn’t able to compete in the prestigious Wimbledon tournament due to an injury, so he obviously decided that it could still be a summer to remember in the Cyclades!
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are one of Hollywood’s most glamourous couples – and they chose the island of Antiparos for their summer holiday with their two children during 2022.
The couple were spotted enjoying a stroll around the charming streets of the island’s port town – perhaps recommended to them by Tom Hanks who is a famous part-time resident of the island.
